Last week was a majorly epic fail in the kitchen department at my house! I had these wonderful visions of making meals from what I already had on hand (pantry is well-stocked, thanks to Super Doubles), and well, they totally flopped 🙁 Needless to say, we ate out a few times.
This is a new week, however, and I’m re-committing to cooking at home this week! I am not very creative in the kitchen, but having a plan helps, so this is what I came up with:
- Roasted chicken breasts, macaroni and cheese, frozen veggies
- Quesadillas, carrots
- Spaghetti with chicken sausage, salad
- French toast, bacon and fruit
- Hamburgers, sweet potato tater tots, salad
- Eat out
I’m also going to try out a recipe for make-ahead french toast from Cook’s Country magazine…I’ll be sure to let you know how it turns out 🙂
