I received a free full-size sample of Lancome DreamTone from SheSpeaks in order to facilitate a review. As always, all opinions are my own.
I hate to admit it, but I’m getting older.
Every time I look in the mirror these days, I think to myself, “What happened to that pretty 20-something that used to look back at me?”
I guess the past 8 years of babies, sleepless nights, eating junk food and staying up too late has caught up to me, and my skin shows it. I’ve been so busy taking care of my family and home, that taking care of my skin sort of fell on the back burner.
But as I inch towards my forties, I realize that I need to start being more responsible with my skin care. That’s where Lancôme comes in.
Smoothing out my complexion with Lancôme DreamTone
Recently, I was given the opportunity to try out the new DreamTone product from Lancôme, which is a serum designed to reduce the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone.
Here’s the scoop on DreamTone:
DreamTone is the next generation in dark spot correction. This customized skin tone correcting serum is so powerful, 72% of women dare to bare their skin.* The new DreamTone is 3 barely-tinted serums formulated to visibly correct dark spots, color imperfections and give you a more even-looking skin tone. It comes in 3 serums customized for your skin tone: 1- Fair, 2 – Medium, 3 – Dark.
• 74% saw glowing skin*
• 70% noticed a more even skin tone*
• 69% saw the appearance of dark spots reduced*
• 78% saw color imperfections reduced*
*All results based on global self-assessments of women of multiple ethnicities in an 8-week study. 72% reflects 8 weeks of use.
With such promising results from other women, I was excited to give the DreamTone a try to see if it would clear up some of my blotchiness.
Over the past three weeks, I’ve been using DreamTone every morning and evening after washing my face, and before applying moisturizer. After just a couple of days, I felt like my skin became more smooth and soft. After three weeks, I can honestly say that I have noticed that my blotchiness has significantly decreased and the acne marks that I had leftover from my teen years have lightened up quite a bit. I’m excited to see what DreamTone can do in 6 or 8 weeks!
Here’s a peek at my make-up free skin after using DreamTone (I can’t believe I’m showing this to you!):
You can find Lancôme DreamTone at Lancôme.com and department stores everywhere. It’s not cheap at $98, but you do only use a tiny bit each time you apply it, so it will last a very long time. I think it’s a good investment in my skin as I age.
