I’m so glad to have a new menu plan again this week! Have you started yours?
Last week, I ended up with some kind of stomach bug and was sick for a couple of days. Fortunately, however, the previous Friday, I had made up my weekly menu and did all my grocery shopping, so when I was down for a couple of days, the rest of the family could still have meals.
I wasn’t able to post that menu plan last week, but I did manage to drag myself into the kitchen to prep the main course for dinner those few nights. My husband pulled the rest of the meal together for himself and the kids, so they still ate a good meal and we avoided take-out.
That’s the beauty of meal planning…it takes only a few minutes a week, but saves loads of time later on!

Spaghetti with Italian sausage (zucchini noodles for hubby and me, regular spaghetti for the kids), salad (S)
Egg Roll in a Bowl, broccoli (S)

I’ve taken most of my dinners from the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook and the Food for Life Cookbook (affiliate links). We’ve been using the THM cookbook for practically all our meals for the past few months and we love everything we’ve tried so far.
