Menu Plans for Busy Moms

Happy Monday moms! Hope you are enjoying your summer so far ๐Ÿ™‚

Weekly menu planning can help busy moms save time and money prepping meals for their families. The weekly Trim Healthy Mama menu is full of Trim Healthy Mama recipes to keep you on plan. Using healthy menu plans gives you options for breakfast, lunch and dinner that the whole family will love.

Summer is in full swing around our house and the kids have been enjoying being home. That means I have more time for meal prep in the evenings, since we aren’t running to activities ๐Ÿ˜‰

This week, however, my son has Cub Scout camp, so he’ll be out of the house for 8 hours each day…which is the perfect time for me to tackle the big painting project I’ve been wanting to do.

I’m planning to paint all our bedrooms, the kitchen, the living room and our play room, which I’m turning into more of a family room, now that the kids have sort of outgrown their toys. Hopefully I can get this all done by the end of the week.

As usual, my menu plan is Trim Healthy Mama-friendly. If you aren’t familiar with Trim Healthy Mama, head over to read all about how I became a Trim Healthy Mama and lost 35 pounds in 7 months.

Here’s what’s on the menu this week:

Breakfasts
Eggs, berries (S)
Oatmeal, 1/2 banana (E)
Sprouted wheat pancakes, bacon, strawberries (Crossover)
Scrambled Eggs with cheese, bacon, berries (S)

Lunches
Leftovers most days
Turkey or ham and cheese in low-carb wrap (S)

Dinners
Steak on the grill, broccoli salad (S)
Bacon Ranch Chicken Casserole (S)
Trim Mac Salad (S)
Chicken Parmy, salad (S)
Cowboy Grub (E)
Homemade pizza, salad (Crossover)
Eat Out (S)

I’ve taken most of my dinners from the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook and the Food for Life Cookbook (affiliate links). We’ve been using the THM cookbook for practically all our meals for the past few months and we love everything we’ve tried so far.

  1. We had steak on the grill last week when it was hot at our house it was so good. We’re having waffle iron pizza pockets this week. They are so good.

I hope you have a great week Erin!

    1. Thanks Sandra! It’s been a really big job, and I still have so much more to do…but it’s worth it, because the newly painted walls make the house look so clean and new ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope you have a great weekend!
