I had every intention of posting this yesterday, but it just didn’t happen. Kids got up extra early, I was buried under a mountain of laundry all day, and after driving back and forth to preschool 4 times, I just felt like sitting down and reading with my kids last night instead of blogging. I hope you don’t mind 🙂
Last night’s dinner of Meatloaf with Mushroom Gravy (a new-to-me-recipe) turned out really great! I hope to add it to my recipe rotation in the future. Here’s that and the rest of this week’s menu:
Monday: Meatloaf with Mushroom Gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli
Tuesday: Penne with Broccoli and Sausage, breadsticks
Wednesday: Poor Man’s Steak, potatoes, veggies
Thursday: Homemade pizza, salad
Friday: Breakfast for dinner
Saturday: Eat Out
Sunday: BBQ Meatballs, dip, chips, and veggie sticks (Super Bowl snacks)
What’s on the menu at your house?
Your menu looks delicious. I made some meatballs for the freezer a couple weeks ago so we will be having BBQ meatballs soon. Have a great week.
Your menu sounds yummy! I may have to add BBQ meatballs to our rotation soon as my husband and I are both getting a bit sick of the spaghetti and meatballs that seem to be appearing on our menu a bit too often.
Oh Jean, you’ll love the BBQ Meatballs! My family can’t get enough of them. I’ve even brought them to potlucks and had people asking me for the recipe as soon as they tasted them 🙂
Your menu looks delicious, Erin. I’d never heard of poor man’s steak before I saw it on Crystal’s blog. You’ll have to let us know how you like it! 🙂
Thanks Sandra! My husband has been asking for more beef at dinner, so I keep my eyes open for any new beef recipes I can try that won’t cost an arm and a leg. This one really caught my eye…it has a catchy name! I think I’ll make half the recipe the first time, just in case it doesn’t work out for us.
