Happy Monday and Happy August! Can you believe that we are in August already? I’m not sure what happened to summer…it has just flown by.
The summer heat is still with us though, so most of the meals on this week’s menu plan are cooked in the slow cooker or on top of the stove to save me from having to heat up the kitchen even more with the oven.
Here’s what’s on the menu this week:
Monday: Mac and Cheesedog Casserole, veggies
Tuesday: Crockpot Lasagna, veggies
Wednesday: Pan-fried pork chops, rice pilaf, veggies
Thursday: Eat Out
Friday: Breakfast for dinner–eggs, bacon, biscuits, fruit
Saturday: Kielbasa Skillet, veggies
Sunday: Taco Chicken Bowls, rice, veggies

What’s on the menu at your place this week?
Your menu looks delicious, Erin! We’re having leftover vegetarian chili for lunch, and for dinner, we’re hoping my husband is able to get off of work in time for us to take advantage of a deal going on at a new Bouna Beef restaurant. 🙂
Thanks Sandra! I’ve never heard of Bouna Beef before…we don’t have them out here. Let me know what you think of it!
Yum, your menu looks delicious. This month I’m trying to add in a breakfast and a big salad for dinner each week. Although this week I forgot to add in a breakfast dinner, I did get a big salad dinner planned. With the warm weather I find it’s easy to make a salad or breakfast for dinner and it helps to keep the kitchen cooler too. I hope you have a great week.
Thanks Shell! The dinner salad sounds like such a great idea, but I don’t think my kids would go for it, unfortunately. Maybe when they are a bit older, I’ll try it 🙂
Your menu looks great. I haven’t done breakfast for dinner in a while although I think I’ve had it on my menus. That sounds really good. Going to have to make it actually happen soon.
I love that it’s so easy to make when I’ve had a long week…that’s why I do it on Friday nights 🙂
Hope you have a great week Jean! 🙂
