I hope you are having a good a summer as we are…I can’t believe that July is almost half over already! We’ve been so busy with daily swim lessons, Summer Bridge lessons, and our library summer reading club, that time has just been flying by!
Last week seemed to be “the” week for vacations, because it seemed like every single family that we know was on vacation at the same time. It was a lonely week for the kids, because all of their playmates were gone. But they made up for lost time over the weekend when everyone came back 🙂
This week, I’m trying out a new-to-me recipe from Beth over at Budget Bytes. I love her simple and budget-friendly recipes because they are so not complicated and, of course, are always delicious. My all-time favorite of hers is the Taco Chicken Bowls, which I’ve been making for a few years now…nothing could be easier!
Here’s what’s on our menu this week:
Monday: Sausage and Broccoli Pasta Skillet Meal, salad
Tuesday: Teriyaki Meatballs, rice, veggies
Wednesday: Zucchini Sausage Ravioli, salad
Friday: Eat Out
Saturday: Hamburgers on the grill, fruit salad
Sunday: Breakfast for dinner–eggs, biscuits, fruit
