Menu Plan Monday

Happy Monday again…doesn’t it seem like Monday was just here a few minutes ago? Ha! I’m not sure where last week went, but it sure left in a hurry.

We celebrated my husband’s graduation from college this past weekend…it was an amazing finish to a long, long journey, and we are all so proud of him around here.

It had just started to rain when we came out of the stadium, so we quickly posed for one picture, then dashed off to the car. Thankfully the ceremony was held indoors so that we didn’t get totally soaking wet!

Now that some of the craziness has died down, I don’t have to worry about making super quick dinners. This week we’re having some of my husband’s favorites, since it’s his special week, including some brats on the grill, now that it’s a bit warmer and we can cook outside 🙂

Here’s our menu for the week:

Monday: Spaghetti with Italian sausage, veggies

Tuesday: Baked Potato Bar – potatoes with cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, broccoli, salt and pepper

Wednesday: Sloppy joes, oven fries

Thursday: Taco Night

Friday: Breakfast for dinner – eggs, biscuits, sausage and fruit

Saturday: Eat Out

Sunday: Brats on the grill, potato salad, fruit

What a great picture! Congrats to your husband.

Your food all looks great! Do you have a place that you keep track of all the meals you like to make that helps make menu planning easier?

Thanks Lydia! I’m so proud of him 🙂

I don’t really have a list of meals or anything…just a sort of list in my brain. Lol! When I check my grocery ad each week and see what’s on sale, I think of dinners that I can make with those ingredients. Sometimes if I run across something particularly good looking on Pinterest or another blog, I’ll try to remember to make it for the next week. I really just try not to make things two weeks in a row, but other than that, I don’t keep track of anything else.

Congratulations to your husband! We are having a baked potato bar this week too with chili on them. Everyone in our family loves them and I love it’s an easy meal to make.
