It’s a rainy start the week here in Maryland, but I don’t mind…it’s nice to have rainy days once in a while 😉 Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
On our menu this week are some easy comfort foods…a few that come together quickly on busy nights when we have piano lessons or a meeting at church. Even better, our picky kids will eat them!
Here’s what’s on the menu this week:
Monday: Hamburgers, oven fries
Tuesday: Homemade pizza, salad
Wednesday: Shrimp Fried Rice, potstickers
Thursday: Eat Out
Friday: Breakfast for dinner – eggs, chocolate chip scones, fruit
Saturday: Oven Fajitas, salad
Sunday: Spaghetti with Italian sausage, broccoli
I’m also making a few loaves of banana bread with some very ripe bananas that have been sitting on my counter for a few days. The loaves are great to stick into the freezer for a night when we are hungry for some dessert after dinner or a for a quick breakfast on a busy school morning. The kids also like to take a slice to school for snack time.

What’s for dinner at your place this week?
Your menu looks tasty this week! We are having breakfast for dinner one night as well. I hopped over from OrgJunkie Menu Plan Monday. Have a great day!
Oh, thanks so much for visiting Lori! Hope you have a great week as well 🙂
Your menu looks good, Erin. I love potstickers! 🙂
Thanks Sandra! We really love the Tai Pei brand potstickers from the freezer section of our grocery store. I think they’re even better than the ones from our local Chinese restaurant 😉
Your menu looks yummy this week. I haven’t made fried rice in a while and fried rice with shrimp sound so good. I’m making the chocolate chip scones this week too. Hope you have a great week!
Yay for chocolate chip scones! They really are so good, and easy to make too 🙂
Wishing you a great week too!
We have a few ripe bananas. Sounds like I should bake some banana bread tomorrow
You’ll be glad you did! 🙂
