Happy Monday to you! How was your weekend?
It’s time to start off a new week, and so that means a new menu plan! My dad is still here for a couple more days, so I’m fixing more of his favorites. One of the things I’m going to try is a simple cut of round steak dredged in flour, then fried until golden brown. My grandmother used to make this quite often, and I hope I can come close to the way her round steak tasted.
We are also eating dinner at school and church this week. I’m in charge of feeding about 100 people at church on Friday, and I’m so nervous about making enough for everybody.
Here’s what we’re having for dinner at home this week:
Monday: Round Steak, mashed potatoes, squash
Tuesday: Make-Your-Own Taco Night
Wednesday: Dinner at school
Thursday: Italian Mac and Cheese, salad
Friday: Dinner at church
Saturday: Eat Out
Sunday: Pork Chops, mashed potatoes, green beans

Have you ever cooked for a really big crowd before? What are some of your tips for making it all go smoothly?
I don’t know what that soup/stew is in your photo, but I think that I want to eat it right now.
Aww, you’re so sweet Krista! Thanks for visiting ๐
I hope you steak turns out good. It sounds like it would be a wonderful dinner. Hope you enjoy the last few days with your dad visiting. I’m sure you will make enough food for Friday. I know at our church dinners we always have too much food. ๐
Thanks Shelly! I’m so nervous about either not having enough food or having way too much.
Your menu looks good, Erin. ๐ Do you have help for Friday’s church dinner?
I hope you have a great week and enjoy a few more days with your dad!
Hi Sandra! Yes, I have some help for Friday, thank goodness!
I hope you have a great week too ๐
