Good morning everyone! Hope you aren’t buried in snow like we are 🙂
I took last week off from menu planning, and oh my goodness, what a difference it made in my week! I had to scramble to think of something to make each night, pulling ingredients from my pantry and freezer without any idea what was in them. It was a mess!
Thankfully, I sat down this weekend and made up a proper meal plan for the week so I don’t have any more of that stress 🙂
Monday: Skillet Chicken and Rice, veggies
Tuesday: Pancake Supper at church
Wednesday: Pork Chops, mashed potatoes, veggies
Thursday: Teriyaki Meatballs, rice, veggies
Friday: Breakfast for dinner
Saturday: Chicken soup, bread
Sunday: Eat Out
What’s on your menu for the week? If you need extra inspiration, head over to Org Junkie to check out some more meal plans!
I am the same way If I don’t have a meal plan in place. I go a little crazy and we eat cereal for dinner more than I’d like to admit. Glad to see you’re back to meal planning this week.
Thanks Andrea! I’m so glad that you stopped by today 🙂
Your meals sound great! I just made some chicken soup today, too!
Thanks Yuliya! I’m so glad you stopped by today 🙂
Hi Erin! Stopping by from the OrgJunkie linkup. I couldn’t agree more – the weeks I don’t do a meal plan stink! I’m a stress ball driving home from work trying to figure out what I have to stop by the store and get (and it never fails, I always buy something I’ve already got at home but forgot about) and I ALWAYS spend WAY more money when I don’t plan ahead.
Thanks for sharing your family’s menu!
Hi Heather…thanks so much for stopping by!
It always amazes me what a difference having a meal plan makes in my days. Even if I don’t want what I have planned for that night, I still have choices that are planned out for me.
