Menu Plan Monday

Menu Plan Monday

Hello friends! Hope you had a great holiday weekend 🙂 Monday is here again, and that means another weekly menu plan is needed.

This week, I’ve got 2 nights in which I’ll be out of the house, so I’ve included quick and easy meals for those days in my meal plan. I know myself…I’ll be too tempted to order take-out or go to the drive through unless I’ve got something very easy to prepare.

Here’s what we are eating this week:

Monday: Spaghetti, Meatballs from the freezer, frozen veggies

Tuesday: Pork Chops, Hashbrown Casserole, frozen veggies

Wednesday: Taco Chicken Bowls, Corn

Thursday: Lasagna Casserole, salad

Friday: Breakfast for dinner: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins, scrambled eggs, fruit

Saturday: Eat Out

Sunday: Hamburgers on the grill, Corn on the Cob and Fruit

I’ll also make some Chocolate Chip Banana Bread this week.

What’s on your menu?

My dishwasher is broken also! It has been recalled twice and repaired another time. This time, the control panel quit. If it wasn’t such a hunk of junk to begin with I would have it repaired. But I bought a new one, it should be here tomorrow, and I can’t wait!

That’s what’s wrong with our dishwasher…the control panel. Evidently it burned out…smoke was coming out of it and I thought it was on fire. Congratulations on your new machine! And thanks for stopping by My Mommy World 🙂

Taco Chicken Bowls look yummy! Quick and easy meals are always helpful. I’ve been all about them since our little guy was born 7 weeks ago and it’s so hot I don’t want to cook anyway. 🙂

Hi Deanna! Congratulations on your new addition! I totally understand about not wanting to cook…it’s so hard with a newborn, isn’t it? The taco chicken bowls are so super easy…just dump all the ingredients in your slow cooker and 4 hours later, you’re done 🙂

Your menu plan looks similar to mine (except that mine is all in my head!). Trying not to use the oven too much since it is so hot (live in northeast with no air conditioning except in bedrooms). We are having spaghetti on Thursday for daughter’s birthday. We buy these great little local italian meatballs. She wants strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Yum, that sounds great Jennifer! Did you see my Easy Strawberry Shortcake recipe last week? You’ll have to use your oven for about 15 minutes, but I promise, it’s worth it 🙂 Happy Birthday to your daughter!
