We’re really in the midst of fall around here, with chilly mornings and evenings, and lots of leaves to pick up! This weekend, we cleared our front yard of leaves, picking up 8 big bags’ worth! Our big maple tree hasn’t really started dropping leaves yet, so we still have lots of leaf raking in our future. Luckily, I’ve got a really yummy menu planned out for the week to help fill us up after all that yard work 🙂
We had some great results with some of the new recipes we tried last week, including the Coney Island Casserole from Mrs. Criddle’s Kitchen. My husband really liked it, going back for seconds and asking for leftovers to be packed in his lunch!
This week, I’m going back to some old favorites, including my Turkey Corn Chili, which is perfect on the chilly fall evenings that we’ve been having the last couple of weeks.
As usual, my menu plan is Trim Healthy Mama-friendly. If you aren’t familiar with Trim Healthy Mama, head over to read all about how I became a Trim Healthy Mama and lost 35 pounds in 7 months.
