Good morning and happy Monday! We are on the home stretch now…Christmas in only 4 short days! Can I confess that I have zero presents wrapped yet?
Luckily, I will have some extra time this week, as the kids will be at school for a few days…I’m hoping to do all my wrapping while they’re out 🙂 I’m just glad that all my meals are planned out for this week, so I don’t have to worry about what we are going to eat.
We have some family coming to stay with us for a week or so for the holidays, so I had to include in my meal plan some foods that are not Trim Healthy Mama-friendly.
You might remember that my husband and I are doing the THM plan, which cuts out high-glycemic carbs like potatoes and pasta and sugars. I’ll be making some mashed potatoes a few times this week, but I won’t eat them…I’ll be fine with the main dish and vegetable side, but I’m sure my kids will be happy to eat them.
A Trim Healthy Mama cheesecake is on the menu for Christmas dessert, and I can’t wait to try it…it looks so decadent, that everyone will be happy to eat it!
If losing weight is going on your list of New Year’s resolutions again in 2016, you might want to consider THM. I’m planning to write more about it soon, so if you’ve not subscribed to my free blog update emails, you can do that now (and you’ll get a free copy of my DeStressing Motherhood eBook!)
