Hello! Happy Monday everyone 🙂 Hope you had a great weekend!
I am so excited about this new-to-us Trim Healthy Mama plan that we’ve been following for a couple of weeks. I had my first weigh-in last Monday and found that I had lost 4.4 pounds, while eating things like fried eggs, bacon, chocolate frappes and Italian sausage. I called my husband from the gym (where I use the scale) to tell him the news and broke out into tears…happy tears! (By the way, he lost 6 1/2 pounds)
I had two doctor appointments later in the week, and I was happy to see that my weight was lower again each time I got on the scale. It was the first time I didn’t get discouraged being weighed at the doctor. I’m excited to see what my “official” weight is for week 2 later today when I go to the gym.
In the meantime, I’m having fun making the recipes in the new Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook (affiliate link). Many of the meals I’m making this week are from that book (everything we’ve tried has been very, very good so far!)
Here’s what’s on the menu at our house this week:
