Good Summer Reads: 5 Mini Book Reviews

books for summer reading

Can you believe that Summer is almost half over already? I don’t know where the past few weeks have gone, but I’m still looking forward to some more time lounging by the pool and reading by the beach 🙂

One of my amazing readers, Katie, left a comment recently, asking me to share my thoughts on some of the books that I’ve read over the past few months, so I decided to pick 5 of my favorite books and share a mini review of each one over the next few weeks.

Hopefully this short series will inspire you to find some good books to read over the rest of this short summer!

Need to find a good book?

Over the next few weeks, I’ll post short reviews on the following books:

Peace From Broken Pieces, by Iyanla Vanzant

What a Difference a Mom Makes, by Dr. Kevin Leman

Read for the Heart, by Sarah Clarkson

The Mom Walk, by Sally Clarkson

Grace for the Good Girl, by Emily P. Freeman

Which books have you enjoyed reading this summer?

  1. Those look like great book Erin. I am looking forward to your reviews of each one. I am currently reading 3 books, Better than a Box, Platform and Simple Blogging. I am not good at sticking to just one book at a time and I find I get more reading done when I have more than one book I am working on.

  2. Can’t wait to read your reviews. I love love Sally Clarkson – I want to read all of her books. Right now I’m almost finished with Kisses from Katie and Christ in the Chaos. Both have been really good.
