Apple Pie Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to get in a healthy meal or snack in a hurry. You can toss some fruit or veggies, yogurt or other protein, and some juice or milk into a blender and have a tasty drink in just seconds. That’s why I love making this Apple Pie Smoothie for my family.

As most moms can attest, it’s sometimes hard to get our kids to always eat as healthily as we would want them too. In our house, it’s a daily struggle to get the kids to eat their fruits and veggies, even though they’ve heard me say how important they are for our health so many times.

But when I make a smoothie, I can hide some healthy ingredients inside, and the kids are none the wiser…they drink them down no problem!

In this Apple Pie Smoothie, I’ve just combined some basic ingredients to make a pretty tasty apple-y drink, but feel free to hide some extras inside if you need to 😉

To make this apple pie smoothie, you’ll need some ice, apple juice, a couple of containers of apple pie yogurt (I used Dannon Oikos…extra protein!), and some cinnamon.

Start with the ice and add the apple juice. You can add more or less juice depending on how thick your family likes their smoothies. We found that a cup of juice worked well for us.

Add the remaining ingredients and blend well, until all the ice is broken up and the mixture is completely smooth.

Pour your smoothie into your favorite glass, sprinkle some extra cinnamon on top to garnish, add a straw, and enjoy!

  • 3 cups of ice
  • One cup apple juice
  • 2 containers apple pie yogurt I used Dannon Oikos
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


  1. Combine all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into your favorite smoothie glass.
  3. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  4. Sip and ENJOY!!

This apple pie smoothie can even be enjoyed as a dessert if you’re trying to avoid extra calories and want a more sensible snack to satisfy your sweet tooth. It tastes just like a milkshake!

    Oh we love smoothie at our house! We usually just throw things in the blender without much thought, lol. We should be more judicious next time, and have a theme. Like Apple Pie Smoothie.
