Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was a good one 🙂 We’ll definitely have a good week without worrying about dinner because we have our menu plan!
So, last week I mentioned that I ordered my groceries online and then stopped at the grocery store’s drive-thru to pay and have them loaded into my trunk.
Oh my goodness…it was the greatest thing ever!
I can’t tell you how much I dreaded going to the grocery store every weekend. It was always so crowded, the lines at the deli and the cash register were so long and took me forever to get through.
And if for some reason I couldn’t get my shopping done on Saturdays because of the kids’ sports or music activities, trying to cram it in on another day of the week was stressful.
Not only did ordering groceries online save me so much time, but it also saved me a lot of money too! There were no impulse buys…I just paid for the things we actually needed.
This new shopping routine and my weekly meal planning is really paying off for staying out of restaurants more often and sticking to our style of eating 🙂
As usual, my menu plan is Trim Healthy Mama-friendly. If you aren’t familiar with Trim Healthy Mama, head over to read all about how I became a Trim Healthy Mama and lost 35 pounds in 7 months.
Here’s what’s on the menu this week:
