Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend celebrating Father’s Day 🙂
We spent the entire weekend doing absolutely nothing, which was so nice after weeks of rushing around to so many kids’ activities. It was nice to be able to read a book, watch a movie with the kids, and just relax.
There’s a bit of a heat wave here right now, so I’m trying to use the oven a bit less than usual, in order to keep the kitchen cooler. Still, I do have a couple of family favorites that are made in the oven on my menu this week…I’ll have to make them on cooler days 🙂
As usual, my menu plan is Trim Healthy Mama-friendly. If you aren’t familiar with Trim Healthy Mama, head over to read all about how I became a Trim Healthy Mama and lost 35 pounds in 7 months.
Here’s what’s on the menu this week:
Eggs, berries (S)
Oatmeal, 1/2 banana (E)
Sprouted wheat pancakes, bacon, strawberries (Crossover)
Scrambled Eggs with cheese, bacon, berries (S)
Leftovers most days
Turkey or ham and cheese in low-carb wrap (S)
Brats and hot dogs on the grill, coleslaw (S)
Cajun Cream Chicken in the slow cooker, zucchini noodles (S)
BBQ Meatballs, cauliflower rice, green beans (S)
Taco Night (taco-seasoned ground beef, cheese, sour cream and salsa piled on a bed of lettuce) (S)
Chicken Parmesan, salad (S)
Homemade pizza, salad (Crossover)
Eat Out (S)
I’ve taken most of my dinners from the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook and the Food for Life Cookbook (affiliate links). We’ve been using the THM cookbook for practically all our meals for the past few months and we love everything we’ve tried so far.
