Last week was so hectic for me that I didn’t get many of my goals accomplished. And then I got completely off track on Saturday because I received an email from the library that they FINALLY had a copy of The Help ready for me to pick up, after being on the waiting list for what literally felt like an eternity!
I picked up the book in the afternoon and started reading it at about 9:30 at night, after I got my kids into bed and watched a little TV with my hubby. I read until I couldn’t keep my eyes open that night, and I pretty much read the entire next day after coming home from church. I didn’t even want to put it down for meals, it was that good. I finally finished it just after midnight…it was truly a heart-wrenching book.
Needless to say, I didn’t get much done on Sunday. But it’s a new week and here are my new goals:
- Continue with daily Bible readings
- Keep up with my laundry plan
- Prepare dinner every night
- Complete weekly workouts
- Come up with a tag line for my new blog
- Write 4 posts this week
- Finish reading Mom Blogging for Dummies
- Wrap presents for my son’s 3rd birthday
- Make one scrapbook page
